Youth Player Registration Guide
The RFU now require all parents/guardians to check their children’s player registrations annually online.
This is done by logging in to your Game Management System (GMS) account. The same one as to pay for membership, or book RFU coaching courses.
From your profile summary screen you will see three buttons.
Select the Update Family Registration button.
You will then see your account and any other person linked to your account.
For an adult member the More Button has the following options
- You shouldn’t need to select add youth or adult.
- Please check your details and contact information.
- Don’t try to update your communication preferences, as the system will then ask you to enter a password. This is for brand new members to the club.
- If you want to update communication preferences, select the Communication link form the left panel on the main screen.
- If you do click the Communication Preference button you can return by clicking the Back button
For each child You need to check the relationships and contact information, hopefully you will not need to change anything here.
The most important area for you to check is the player registration information.
- High Wycombe Rugby club should already be selected.
- For most players the playing position should be set at Unspecified. At U14 and above if the player is trained for front row, then, that can be selected otherwise leave at unspecified.
- Please complete any medical information that will assist the club in looking after the well-being of your child. You can enter None if there is no information to convey.
- If we already have school information, then it should be shown. If you need to change the school information or set it, then use the three boxes to enter information then click the search icon, a list of school(s) should appear below, just select the correct school.
- Finally, scroll down and complete the consent section. And answer the three questions. Note that withholding consent for the last two may result in the child not being able to play, unless you can guarantee to always be pitch side. The player welfare is utmost, and if we can’t pass on emergency contact details and medical conditions (such as allergic to penicillin) to emergency services (if needed) this will be detrimental to your child.
Click next to return to the family list.
When all the details for each family member has been checked click the Confirm button at the top of the page to save the information.
Only once you have checked/updated all the player informatio and clicked confirm will the club membership sececretary be able to confirm the player registration details and you child be able to play rugby for High Wycombe Rugby Club.
