On paper this could and should have been a win for Wycs, but Tadley 2s were just better on the day - they dealt with the cold conditions, blustery wind and the refs view of the match better than Wycombe did.
As always with the 2s lots of player changes from the last team (11 this time), but we really can play better than this.
Good to see Joe W come down for his first game of the season adding a considerable physical presence in the backs and equally good to welcome Ben M playing his first game for Wycombe and Ross on his debut for the seniors, both playing in the front row an area of the game that Wycombe did dominate for the whole 80.
A nice try from Alex B running in from half way, converted by Will and a near miss from Ian C who somehow managed not to score as our scrum drove over the Tadley line was about all we had to show for our efforts.
Get well soon to Zac who lasted for a whole 2 minutes (impressively, an even shorter time than when he last played for the 2s !
I think we'll just put this one down to having a bit of an off day.
