The Belles went ahead through some outstanding attacking structures and some true team support tries. A few times the locals came back into it making coaching a nerve wracking job, but the Belles showed that, despite missing some key players in key positions, the structure and team spirit allowed them to score through the middle and round the outside.
7 tries to 4 translated to 35-26.
Tries for Sasha, Christiana X 2, Amy X 2, Heather and Chloe Mays (on debut) should have been 2 but the referee decided that forward passes were a problem.
It was great that on Mother's Day our nominations for players of the match went to Karen and Janet.
We would like to dedicate today's victory to all of our mum's and all mothers in the team.
